Release notes for version 2.7.0.27 - 02/09/2026 - 11:30 AM ET
Due to problems with report generation after the release of Moneytree version 2.7, the application was rolled back to version 2.6 to address those problems without disrupting standard service to users. Those issues have been resolved and an updated version of 2.7 is scheduled.
Updates are automatic and no action is required from you. Only a momentary disruption is expected at the time of the release. There may be about an hour delay from the release time before the changes are seen.

New Features & Functionality
- Updated tax tables, contribution limits, credits and other tax figures for 2026
- Added button for advisors to update scenario balances from accounts linked by the client; button only appears if there are connected accounts
Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Removed language implying usage of Tax Cuts & Jobs Act rules from text pages and footnotes
- Aspire report: Fixed issue where Social Security for the co-client would not appear on the Retirement Needs Analysis (C3a) if the primary client was ineligible for benefits (did not impact any other results)
- Fixed issue where balances would be duplicated when switching from non-consolidated to consolidated import, then updating the linked accounts (no duplication when switching from consolidated to non-consolidated)
- Fixed issue that prevented Moneytree from updating the home page [Plan only]
- Removed references to co-client Social Security and Pensions when the co-client is later removed
- Aspire & Prosper reports: Fixed issue where Self Employment would be added to Salary & Wages on the Current Year Income Tax (D3) page (was not included in the tax calculation and did not occur on any other pages)
- Aspire & Prosper reports: Added back the 20-year return history to the historical returns charts
- API: Added timestamp of the last successful update of linked accounts
- Fixed issue that could cause some TOTAL database imports to fail (uploads may still fail if there is corrupted data on the database)
- Aspire & Prosper reports: Fixed issue where summary reports would display information related to the last future change entry for pension start age and benefit amounts
- Fixed issue where prior year MAGI data for Medicare policies would get lost when copying a scenario

- Added option in report settings to change the alignment of page margins:
- Can select between centered and "binder" (binder has large left margins for better fit into binders)
- Default for existing companies is "binder"
- Default for new companies is centered

Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed issue where the Summary page could miscalculate the available assets
- Fixed issue where assets labeled as "Asset (General)" would be excluded from Net Worth
- Fixed issue where the Resources Available for Retirement page would exclude assets with certain "Group" selections from the available assets
- Fixed issues with the Survivor Needs Analyses:
- Summary:
- Added liabilities as an immediate expense while properly accounting for the "Include Liabilities in Expenses" box status
- Fixed issue where the incorrect final expense values would be calculated
- Survivor Needs Analysis:
- Fixed issue where expenses would be discounted at the incorrect rate; now uses the discount rate for NPV calculations
- Fixed issue where Social Security would be double-counted
- Fixed issue where the incorrect Other Income/Expense values would be used
