Moneytree Elite & Essential
New Features & Functionality
- Added Wealthbox CRM to the list of integrations. Imports names and dates of birth for households.
- Added a simplified version of Data Gathering forms that can be used by both Essential and Elite users:
- Advisor-side changes:
- Elite only: Added a "Data Type" drop-down to select a scenario type to be created when the user registers. If "Essential" is selected, clients will see a simplified form.
- Essential users will not have the "Data Type" drop-down. Instead, any registrations will automatically use the simplified forms.
- If "Essential" is selected from the "Data Type" drop-down, then the report selection on the page will be limited to Essential reports
- Essential users can now enable forms. All forms will be the in the simplified format and create Essential type scenarios.
- Form changes with the Essential forms:
- Personal Expenses: Made sure that unsupported expense categories would not appear on the pie chart.
- Insurance: removed the Other Insurance page, limiting the data to Life Insurance. Permanent policy premiums are assumed added to expenses through life. Term policy premiums are assumed to continue until retirement.
- Liabilities: Removed the "Additional Information" area and re-ordered inputs slightly. Liability payments are assumed to be part of expenses for new sign-ups.
- Assets:
- Combined Savings and Investments under 1 category named "Savings & Investments"
- The "Main Asset" drop-down shows all supported options available to Savings or Investments
- Removed Cost Basis field
- Pensions: removed the tax exemption boxes and the Dollar Amount increase field
- Earned Income:
- Salary and Self Employment consolidated under a single "Earned Income" field-set
- Description reads "Total annual W2 earnings from employers, and 1099 income from contracts and personal enterprises."
- If retired, then options are made available to enter earnings before retirement for the purposes of Social Security estimation.
- Advisor-side changes:
Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed issue on the Data Gathering forms where the indicator showing the current page on the left-hand menu would not display for some pages
- Fixed issue where the navigation menu would not appear for uploaded TOTAL Planning Suite files in some cases.
- Improved navigation through the Data Gathering forms. Users can now navigate freely through the form. They are no longer restricted to completed steps.

Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed issue where the main Social Security entry could not be modified after visiting Future Changes until the page was refreshed
- Fixed issue where the Personal Expense grid would lose reordering made just before deleting an expense
- Renamed "Adjusted Cost Basis" field for Rental Real Estate to "Adjusted Cost Basis of Building"
- Fixed issue where the incorrect cost basis would be reported in the column header for the Income Tax & Analysis pages for Rental Real Estate
